No maps of claimed territories

[edit source]

I reverted your addition of such territories in the dynamic map of Pakistan. If you added claimed territories to any other map, please revert it. See WV:Be fair#Political disputes. Only which country has reasonably stable control over territory counts for travellers, outside of "Understand" sections. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:01, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for information. I'm reverting my addition to all my maps, including static and dynamic, although I will start with dynamic first. I just thought it would be lawful to add at least the boundaries of the claimed territories. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribs) 02:27, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Well, it already mentions explicitly that I must not depict claimed areas on articles where I already depicted them. I'm reverting all my additions quickly. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribs) 02:29, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, appreciated. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:17, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Mentioning what's off-limits

[edit source]

Re: this edit: Yes, we do mention that some islands are off-limits to visitors. See Andaman and Nicobar Islands#Stay safe for an example. I don't think that a 1-liner listing for Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh article is the right place to mention that the interiors of many temples in Varanasi are off-limits to non-Hindus, so I agree with your deletion, but that absolutely should be mentioned in the Varanasi article, and I'm not sure it is. I'm not seeing such a mention, at a cursory glance, and the term "non-Hindu" doesn't seem to be in that article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:58, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I have just mentioned it under Varanasi#Temples. Thank you. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribs) 07:04, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
