Landscape[edit]

The reserve has stands of old growth redwoods, and younger redwoods as well. There are a number of hiking trails within the reserve, ranging from beginner level (paved) to more advanced.

Flora and fauna[edit]

Flora includes big redwoods, including the 1,400 year-old Armstrong tree, trillium, and ferns. There is also abundant redwood sorrel.
