My name is Roland and I am living in the town of Halle (Saale) in Germany.

I am reporting mainly on Egyptian sites at Wikivoyage. My mission are all sites in Egypt at all times, between 50 meters below the sea and 3,000 meters above. I provided about 2,800 photographs of Egyptian sites at Wikimedia Commons.

I am one of the Wikivoyage’s founders and wrote some extensions for this project. Especially, I am working as an admin at the German, Italian, and English branches.

Some years ago I was the only active administrator at the Swedish Wikivoyage. I used this privilege in the past to support the move of Wikitravel contents to its new home at Wikivoyage. If you need any assistance please ask me at my German talk page.
