Hello, Tjustman1993! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Hello and thanks for contributing! Have a look at our Wikivoyage:Airport Expedition to see what the criteria for creating airport articles are. In short only large and complex airports get their own article here. Small general aviation airfields do not usually fit this bill. Best wishes. Actually, they never fit the bill. I put just a bit more useful information about that airport in the Troy (Michigan) article and turned that article into a redirect to the Troy article.
I have an out-of-the-box thought, though. You might be interested in looking at the existing General aviation article and seeing whether some useful information that's of more general application than listing a whole bunch of airports might be useful to add for the benefit of flyers and passengers. Hi! Thanks for the interest. I'm new to this tool. My original purpose was to create a list of travel destinations from this small airport to other airports and things around them. For example you can fly from Oakland Troy airport to the Put-in-Bay airport and then walk to the monument. There are tools that contain this information about the airports but they are weak when it comes to the fun stuff around the airport. Some sites try it but none are wikis. —The preceding comment was added by Tjustman1993 (talkcontribs)

I think there should be a way to accommodate this type of article, but it would need more discussion to ensure the resulting article is not also removed: Wikivoyage has itinerary articles, and I'd love to see itinerary articles that involve general aviation. There's been a prohibition on "personal itineraries" that don't follow a recognized route, but there's also been some suggestion that the opposition to such itineraries is weakening. Perhaps you could flesh out what you propose to write about and post your outline in the Travellers' pub for people to discuss. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:13, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Besides you can always add attractions to existing city articles. Hobbitschuster (talk) 12:05, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the training! I kind of dove in! So an Itinerary Page might work. It's not so much a circular itinerary but more of a hub and spoke kind of thing, but certainly people could take the destinations and combine them along another route. I assume I could link the Itinerary to Troy, MI home page, or is the Itinerary page standalone? Tjustman1993 (talk) 18:52, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Itineraries are individual articles, but they can certainly be linked from one or more other articles. For example, the Esino Lario article has 3 itinerary articles linked from the "Excursions" subsection of "Do". Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:59, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
