It's been exactly two and a half years since I first created this account – time really does fly. I can proudly say with confidence on-wiki that writing and improving articles about destinations all around the world – whether it be about my home country, a destination that just fascinated me that's possibly on my bucket list, or some faraway archipelago – what a memorable time those 30 months making over 72,500 edits were!

Unfortunately, for the next 16 months, I will not be as active as I was. My schedule is getting busier by the day and while I certainly won't be gone, expect my activity to be lower than usual. I may periodically become more active when I have breaks or an extensive amount of spare time on my hands – unfortunately, that will be limited until late 2024.

I will still be active in administrative side of the site – that includes using the flyswatter, closing VfD nominations and policy-related discussions, just to name a few.

Until then, expect me to create fewer articles, make fewer copyedits and fewer edits overall. However, I cannot thank the community enough for making Wikivoyage an enjoyable, amicable and jovial community to hang around. I'll always be proud to call this my home wiki throughout the wider Wikimedia world – where I've made 48% of my other global edits.

TLDR: I'll be less active than usual for the next 16 months.
