Feedback[edit]

Good: There are many graphs. When I read this article, I can understand better. It also looks awesome. Bad: Too short. So you need to write more! Good luck. Jiminewiki (talk) 06:02, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is a good article, but there are some opportnities for improvement:
  • It needs some Eat listings - restaurants etc, and maybe a paragraph about anything specal to eat here. This is needed before the article is "Usable".
  • I am surprised that the climate varies within a city. "The city is characterized by a continental climate in the north and a temperate climate in the south" reads more like a description of a country's climate.
  • The first sentence of Get in could be rewritten - this is about how to get to Dongducheon, but says "to go out".
  • Get around could be expanded. Is there really only one bus per day?
  • The North Gyeonggi Children's Museum listing is mainly history of the museum, and doesn't say what there is to see there. Several other listings have history rather than useful vistor information.
  • Hotel listings should be about the hotel, not what is nearby, and directions are only from the city centre.
Thank you for doing so much in a month to get the article off to a good start. AlasdairW (talk) 23:04, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- We update our article about Eat listings.
- "The city is characterized by a continental climate in the north and a temperate climate in the south with a large annual temperature difference" This sentence is not an invalid sentence. It has not been modified because it is mentioned on the official website of Dongducheon-si. https://www.ddc.go.kr/ddc/contents.do?key=69
- I corrected 'to go out'.
- There are only bus to move. Also, some bus are driving only one time per day.
- I add some information about The North Gyeonggi Children's Museum. Most listings in Dongducheon lack information. In the case of traditional culture or traditional markets, most of the cases are all the information written.
- Dongducheon doesn't have a specific hotel, so I wrote about various accommodations located near the city center. In addition, as many accommodations were closed due to COVID-19, all of the listed accommodations were selected as operating accommodations.
Thanks for your feedback. I hope my reply make you understand. Lee Jiyeon 62 (talk) 05:13, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Lee Jiyeon 62, I think the ddc.go.kr page is describing the whole peninsula, not the one city. A city will not have one climate here, and then a different climate 5 km away, unless the geography is very unusual (e.g., different sides of a mountain).
The city's climate is called "humid continental climate" in English (냉대 습윤 기후). WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:59, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dongducheon banner Jihaeng Station - Looking North

I have added a banner to the article, but I don't know the city so I am posting it here for comment. There wasn't a big selection of large enough images on Commons. Any comments? AlasdairW (talk) 23:20, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
