Ingmarsö is a picturesque island in the Stockholm Archipelago, known for its welcoming atmosphere and local amenities, including a bakery, a bed and breakfast, and a grocery store. Hiking on the island is easy and enjoyable, following well-maintained 4 gravel roads marked with 5 yellow and blue signs, with occasional trails that 6 wind through the forest.

You can also hike along the 7 "Boat Hiking Trail to 8 Kålgårdsön Nature Reserve and then 9 take a rowboat to Finnhamn (see map and select "hiking") see SAT Finnhamn.

Brottö

The trail can begin at 21 Brottö ferry stop or start with walking SAT Ingmarsö SAT Ingmarsö. Brottö is offering a short but scenic hiking section. The trail on Brottö is not marked, but it follows a gravel road through a cultural landscape, passing pastures and a farm before reaching a gate where the section ends.

Hikers can continue from Brottö to Ingmarsö and further on to Finnhamn via the Båtluffarleden trail. The terrain is easy to navigate, making it accessible for strollers and those with limited mobility.
