Trap shooting is available to the public at Rainier Rod and Gun Club, located at 28243 Old Rainier Rd, Rainier, OR 97048, every first and third Saturdays at 10 AM and every Friday starting at 6PM.

Rainier City Park is one of the nicest parks in the region. It is new, has a very nice play ground for children, baseball diamond, tennis courts and a skate park, covered picnic shelter, restrooms and lots of grassy area. It is along the Columbia River. You can swim, however, it is not a great place to swim.
