Muurame

Muurame is a small municipality in Finland, situated about 20 km from Jyväskylä to the south. The population of Muurame is about 10,000 (2021).

There are many direct Linkki buses (lines 13, 14 and 21) a day from Jyväskylä to Muurame. Long distance buses between Tampere and Jyväskylä stop at Muurame, also some direct services from Helsinki and Lahti are available, Matkahuolto has timetable information about them.

Jyväskylä region local transport buses are available also for trips inside Muurame.

• Muuramenjoki nature trail. The nature trail is about 1.5 km long and it goes along the river Muuramenjoki. Start the trail on Virastotie street.
