Moundou is a city in the Soudanian region of Chad.

[edit | edit source]Moundou is the country's second largest city with about 142,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the southern Logone Occidental prefecture. The city is situated along the Logone River and is mainly populated by - and is the cultural centre of the - N'Gambaye people.
