  • 2 A's Burgers, 28698 Camino Capistrano, +1 949-364-2099. 6AM-9PM daily. Cool small hamburger place across the street from In-N-Out. Lots of photos cover the wall, with various sports teams from years gone by and thanks from those teams. Very casual place serving Mexican food as well as hamburgers. Flies under the radar. This is in Laguna Nigel's city zoning, though many believe it to be in Alisa Viejo or San Juan Capistrano. Free.
  • 3 Mercy Warehouse, 27671 La Paz Rd, +1 949-910-0024. M-F 10AM-8PM Sa 9AM-8PM Su 12-5PM. A very large secondhand store. Lots of media, clothing, furniture, and more.

Very local spot with a tradition of mooning trains once a year. Someone sets up a grill and serves tacos and more in the parking lot at night. Free.
