Buan is in South Korea. It is a scenic county in North Jeolla Province (Jeollabuk-do), South Korea, known for its harmonious blend of coastline, mountains, and cultural heritage. Shin Seok-jeong, who was born in Buan, was an idyllic and participating poet. Seokjeong Literary Museum exhibits a collection of his poems and autograph manuscripts.
