To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 22:27 on 12 May 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

[edit]- "The functions of ceratopsian frills and horns have been debated, suggestions include signalling, combat, and species recognition; the forward oriented brow horns of Nasutoceratops may have enabled interlocking with opponents." The first comma seems inappropriate here to link what could be two complete sentences. Better would be a semi-colon, but there is already another later (although that could be made into a full stop). I would suggest a colon instead of the comma, since the second clause explains the first. JMCHutchinson (talk) 18:51, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- I would concur with that; a colon would seem better than a comma. Gog the Mild, what about you? Schwede66 21:44, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- A colon works for me. Gog the Mild (talk) 22:07, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit]... that actress Edna May Sperl's fiancé was arrested on the day of her wedding by a federal marshal because her fiancé's father opposed the marriage?
Per the article, the hook should probably mention that the arrest was for desertion or "abandoning post" in the article. The current wording implies that the wedding itself was somehow illegal, which, it partially was, but again, context is important. Departure– (talk) 13:54, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- "The current wording implies that the wedding itself was somehow illegal" - does it? I wouldn't have inferred that myself, I'm not sure this is really misleading. I'd just assume he was arrested for a miscellaneous reason at the behest of the father, which is basically the truth; and we like to leave some detail for readers to find out in the article as long as we're not misleading them. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 21:47, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- This was something I had reviewed that was featured on DYK in 2024. Why is it on the main page again? BeanieFan11 (talk) 16:13, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- BeanieFan11 Per Amakuru's edit summary, "remove Kobayashi hook per discussion at WP:ERRORS - no cited evidence that he cosplayed in his 60s; also it was raised that the "despite" is not really merited, as already discussed at WT:DYK. Replace picture hook and also bring in a hook from last year to pad out the extra space created" SL93 (talk) 16:21, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
