Welcome

[edit]

Hello - it appears that you may be working for a hotel or hotel marketing organization, so please read Wikivoyage:Don't tout, and particularly the section entitled "Marketers and SEOs". Listings you add or change will come under significant scrutiny, so please be sure to follow that guideline, and if you change a listing to remove negative information, as you did with Walnut Creek, be sure to use the "edit summary" to specify why you have edited as you did, otherwise your edits are likely to be reverted since it is inappropriate for companies to whitewash their own listings.

If you have questions you can ask them on this talk page or in the Pub. -- Ryan (talk) 16:29, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Articles about individual hotels

[edit]

Please do not create articles about individual hotels or landmarks, as you did with www.terrehaute.hamptoninn.com. This is spam, and also does not fit Wikivoyage:What is an article? which indicates an article describes a region or a city/town-level destination. Syracuse (New York) is a city, while something like Hotel Syracuse is not and would merit only a mention in the "Sleep" section of the host city's article. K7L (talk) 16:57, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
