Thanks a lot for adding content to the East London article! However, please have a look at the the Wikivoyage policy on promotional listings and be careful about quoting from promotional websites or writing descriptions that seem promotional. I realize there is no bright line between a satisfied customer's praise and the praise an establishment or paid publicist gives it, but that's precisely why if you are just a happy customer, you should still be just a bit careful about your tone. Let's look at an example:

Sanook eatery in East London aims to bring that meaning straight to the plates of all of its diners with simple, tasty food. While East London is not usually known for its culinary prowess, Sanook Eatery goes above and beyond.

I'm guessing from the name that this is a Thai restaurant, but you don't mention that. "Bringing meaning" and "going above and beyond" aren't useful the way recommendations of specific dishes would be.

I hope this post doesn't seem nitpicky to you; the main point is to serve the traveller by making descriptions specific and, while not objective, not similar to an advertisement that is meant simply to promote and not to really give information.

Hello, and thanks a lot for your well-intentioned edits to the East London article, but please avoid copying and pasting from any other site to Wikivoyage. This site takes copyright violation very seriously and regularly suspends the posting privileges of users who repeatedly violate it. You've been blocked for a day for copyright violation and edit warring. If you ever read Wikivoyage:Don't tout, you'll see that anything starting "Our spirit is defined by" is per se against Wikivoyage policy. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:41, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
