What are you accusing me of? Correcting mispells in Italian IPA transcriptions?

Don't you think the correct Italian pronunciation of Paganini is [paga'ni:ni] but [ppaga'ni:ni]? What about Paganino Paganini then?

Graham87: either you've mistaken me with somebody else, or you're convinced that a right phonetic transcription is wrong and viceversa. Both of you guys: this is Wikivoyage, not Wikipedia. It looks like you guys have been in an edit war on Wikipedia, but not here, so don't argue about it here. It seems like this is a minor issue anyway, so I advise that both of you "knock it off", and if 5.170.47.174 is in the right, Graham87 needs to knock it off in particular. 5.170.47.174: that's okay; I understand now. Well, in the case of Paganino Paganini, the fact that Graham87 reverted your edit because you're allegedly a "nationalist IP edit-warrior" is odd in the first place, but I do think in this case that "Venetian" is a better description than "Italian" and that he's right in that sense. Personally, I don't think it matters greatly whether it says "Italian" or "Venetian".

One other thing I will say in this comment is that (see Venetian v. Italian debate) nationality and ethnicity are not the same, and are in many cases not interchangeable. For example, someone with Hispanic/Latino ethnicity doesn't necessarily have Mexican origins, although it's very likely they will be from Latin America. I would say that one way to solve the issue would be to make some useful contributions, possibly to Wikivoyage (are you blocked from Wikipedia because of the edit war?), so Graham87 can see that you're not editing for political reasons but instead because you want to improve Wikipedia. There's a misunderstanding: the issue itself isn't about "Paganino Paganini" but about "Nic(c)olò Paganini". That was the article where my range was blocked for a year after just 2 edits in 2 weeks... Paganino Paganini was just an example: the (correct) pronunciation in that article is [paga'ni:ni], so why does he continue restoring in the other one the (wrong) spelling [ppaga'ni:ni]? I have nothing to do with the anonymous user accused of nationalism, "my" Paganini is even Genoan, not Venetian! Anyway, probably you helped me to understand why I was treated like that by Graham87: he must have mistaken me with him. But my IP range is from Northern Italy, while his is from Southern Italy, not to mention the fact that the nature of his edits is totally different from mine. If "this" is the crux of the matter, I'm saying to Graham87: it was all a mistake but not in the sense I thought, you didn't block me because you were sure that my corrections to IPA were actually vandalisms, but because you thought that I was an old vandal who made edit wars against you in a similar article (acutally, it's an incredible coincidence that the article I mentioned as an example was the one where you met the user you mistaken me with, wow!). Is this issue resolved? Do you trust me now? Or are you still convinced that changing Paganini's IPA from [ppaga'ni:ni] to [paga'ni:ni] isn't a correction but a vandalism by an old acquaintance of yours? To be perfectly honest, it took me about five minutes to get this whole thing worked out - but I'm still not totally sure. First, is 5.170.47.159 the same as 5.170.47.174 and neither of you are the "nationalist" or are you two different and is 5.170.47.174 the supposedly nationalist 93.36.8.196 who kept changing "Venetian" to "Italian"? I'll be honest: I think that one of you needs to just sign up, and then Graham87 will probably know which one is which. In the meantime, welcome to Wikivoyage! I'm dispelling your doubts. I'm the person who wrote in this page with all the IPs belonging to range 5.170.47.0/24 (if it hadn't been a dynamic IP, Graham87 wouldn't have blocked the IP range). I'm not the person who's been changing al the "Venetian" to "Italian" in the other article 2 years ago, the only thing I'm interested in about "my" article is correcting the phonetic mispell (and this isn't "nationalism" as far as I know). If the unblock of my range and Nic(c)olò Paganini's IPA correction is subordinated to my signing up, I'll do it gladly (but I don't think this would be actually useful, not to mention the fact that there's no reason to keep me blocked if I'm unguilty nor revert my edits is they're aimed to correct a wrong spelling in IPA). Aha. I see. 5.170.47.159, your last edit to Niccolo Paganini was on June 6th, am I right? And then another IP address reverted your edit, and then Graham 87 reverted it, as he stated it, "properly". By the way, I didn't know the supposed "nationalist". I just assumed that both of you were the same person, like Graham87 did. I can now be sure this whole thing was a misunderstanding.
