Hello, 180.191.108.13! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.
By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.
I'll add that if you know an airport sucks, please stick to your guns and report the details. That's important for travellers to know about. I'll post this same message at User talk:180.191.106.189, since you seem to use a dynamic IP.
All the best,

- Thanks for the welcome, Ikan Kekek and I'm sorry to put you to the trouble of leaving the same message twice; I have no control over the IP addresses that Globe allocates to me in the Philippines.
- As you probably guess, I do already have an account here but I am reluctant to use it when away from home because of the superabundance of sniffers and hackers in the region. Anyway, at least using an IP has the advantage of perhaps allowing folks to concentrate on the edits rather than the editor.
- I have mixed feelings about the Islamabad airport conversation. On the one hand, Pakistan has some drop dead gorgeous scenery and people. However, it is not an easy or comfortable country to travel in, especially if you are a woman and especially if people constantly think you're Chinese. I really do think that we can be of practical help in highlighting some destinations that are rarely visited by people not on business but we should not be like US welcome centers and only purvey anodyne neutrality. If I was friends with someone - and especially if they were female - I'd never allow them to visit Pakistan in general or Islamabad airport in particular without some rather extensive friendly and practical warnings. Happy New Year! --180.191.106.189 10:17, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Happy New Year to you, as well!
- One comment on your edits to Philippines: Think about whether someone not already with the country would understand what you're writing. I'm not sure exactly what a Barangay Captain is, though the context gives me a pretty good idea. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:44, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- You're right. In an ideal world I'd be able to directly link to the relevant Wikipedia article; however I believe the current consensus is that everyone is knowledgeable enough about google searches not to need that explanatory link and I question how much detail I should go into about the function and election of the local 'Kapitan, even though I participated in a Sangguniang Barangay yesterday evening. --180.191.106.189 11:17, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, a very basic, even parenthetical description would probably be more than sufficient. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:44, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
