Hello and welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
Also, please read and pay special attention to the tour policy, don't tout and welcome, business owners pages. It's because of the contents of those pages that the listings you posted on the Pondicherry guide were deleted. A single listing that merely describes and does not promote would be welcome, but I'd like you to please make the appropriate edits. As per the policy against touting, the bicycle tour can be mentioned in the cultural center listing but cannot have a separate listing, because that would make two listings for the same organization. If you don't have a copy of your listings, you can see the deleted text here.
If you need help with anything, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub or right here as a reply (please type 4 tildes (the ~ key) in a row to sign replies in talk pages).
If you are a Wikipedian, or have previously used Wikipedia, then you may notice some differences in the style of our articles. These include:
- "Village pump" → travellers' pub
- "be bold" → plunge forward
- "sandbox" → graffiti wall
- "stub notes" → Article status notes
- "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself. Note also, please, that refs are not used in this guide.
All the best,
