Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki community look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 14:18, 1 June 2006 (EDT)

Thanks for uploading images, however, could you please upload your images to the Shared site? You'll have to create a username, but it's easy since it's the exact same process as on Wikivoyage. The Shared site is our depository of images, which, allow images to be used on all language versions of Wikivoyage. If you have any questions ask feel free to ask me. Thanks! - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 14:18, 1 June 2006 (EDT)

Thanks. I'll upload them in Shared files from now on. However what will happen to the existing map now that it is uploaded directly?(WT-en) Tasoskessaris 14:30, 1 June 2006 (EDT)

Actually I think we'll have to delete Image:Kerkyramap.jpg. While it certainly seems reasonable that we'd be allowed to use a map for promotional purposes, we can't legally do that. Whoever created the map owns the copyright to it, and we need specific permission from them to distribut it under Wikivoyage's licence (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike). See Project:copyleft for more details about this. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 11:55, 2 June 2006 (EDT)
Yes I see that. Somehow the promotional tag doen't work here like Wikipedia. I don't know why.
Anyway thanks for the hospitality here. I'll try to find my way around the regulations here, they are diferent from Wikipedia. Then I can contribute more efficiently. Thanks again Todd for your kind advice and your patience. Take care. (WT-en) Tasoskessaris 22:51, 21 June 2006 (EDT)
If you need any help feel free to ask me or anyone else. - (WT-en) Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 22:56, 21 June 2006 (EDT)
I'd be very glad to. Thanks again. (WT-en) Tasoskessaris 16:09, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
