Hello, Lizannegriffith! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your work on Amherst (New Hampshire)‎. A couple of suggestions, however - statistics like race and sex aren't really necessary for a travel guide, and are generally left out. Writing in ALL-CAPS is considered shouting on the internet, so try to avoid that. Finally, when listing restaurants, hotels, bars, etc, you can leave out the city, zip & state (it's inferred based on the article name), but if possible please give some description of the business so a traveler would know what to expect - see an article like Culver City for examples. Thanks again for starting this article, and if you have any questions feel free to ask on this talk, in the Pub, or on the talk page for the Amherst article. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 14:33, 28 February 2010 (EST)
