Hello, KingFantastic! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.--(WT-en) Burmesedays 05:30, 16 February 2010 (EST)
- Thanks for all your edits at Burry Port. Please be careful with images though. The two you uploaded are very clearly marked at Flickr as "all rights reserved". Therefore you cannot copy them and load to another website, and certainly not here. Cheers.--(WT-en) Burmesedays 05:30, 16 February 2010 (EST)
- Flickr and Wikimedia Commons are the two most commonly used. for Flickr you need to check all three "creative commons" boxes in advanced search, before you do the query, on commons virtually all images can be used.
- You can also use the Google image search, if you click advanced search and click "labeled for commercial reuse with modification" under usage rights - but it's wise to double check the copyright status of such results. - I see that Stefan has answered your question very thoroughly. Please do not hesitate to ask if anything else is unclear. I know only too well how confusing Wikivoyage can be before you get used to things around here! --(WT-en) Burmesedays 21:26, 16 February 2010 (EST)
