Welcome!

Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Sorry to have to roll back your contribution to Indialantic, but we have strict rules about how to use contributions from other sites. See Copyleft. Even if you are the author of the quote in question, you need to let us know that on the talk page, and that's also the appropriate place to cite the source of the quote. -- (WT-en) Jonboy 16:20, 15 December 2006 (EST)

I realize you've read Jonboy's comments, but they need to stay on the user page so that others can identify what you have already discussed and what's been explained to you. There are other reasons why those comments need to stay intact. The first being it's very rude to remove someone else's comments and any comments that you may have made and someone has already responded to. Also, our policy says: "Unlike everything else in Wikivoyage, it's considered bad form to change someone else's posts on a talk page -- even to correct spelling or grammar." -- (WT-en) Andrew H. I understand and I'm done. Thanks.
