My name is Lukas and I'm a fan of all kind of travel and maps!

I live it the south of Sweden work and Im a 37 year old constructor and a painter. I´ve been editing on OpenStreetMmap since 2010 and I´ve always love to travel and meeting people. Im traveling as much as I can and I´ve been around Europe, Central/South/ America, Middle East, USA and Japan. This led me to Costa Rica where I have my own "getaway" since 11 years. But now I have my eyes set on Iran, India and beyond... :)

Since a few years back I started to think of a travel layer built on OSM. One thing led to another so me and my English friend Graeme built a platform that we call Travpad.org. When hitchhiking on a dusty road in the south of Costa Rica, Graeme asked me how far it was to the next bar. A conversation took place about a crowdsourced travel map.
