Dar Achain is a small & comfortable guest house in a serene mountain setting in the Toubkal National Park it's owned by a Berber family living for several years on the heart of the high atlas Mountains of Morocco. The house offers a comfortable & cheap accommodation and restaurant in a traditional Moroccan style with panoramic views of the atlas mountains including MT Toubkal, the North Africa's highest peak. Perched on the hillside within the Berber villages and only at10 minutes walking up the hill from Imlil.

 Many walks & strolls can be organising starting from the house, while you staying there, you don't have to loose  the opportunity to explorie the Imlil valley & the surrounding   Multi-Day Treks     Tizi n'Tamaterte (2279m of Altitude) Half or Full Day - 

A gentel walk to the est of Dar Achain towards Tizi n’Tamaterte (2279m) will take you to see the most typical valley in the high atlas mountains, which Imnane valley, several berber villages and also a spectavulaire view of the high atlas mountains, lunch on the pass & a break before going back to the house.

Tizi Mzik (2684m of Altitude)  Half or Full Day - 

West of Dar Achain is also beautiful and atractive, 2h50 walk uphill to Tizi Mzik to get a nice view above Imlil valley & Azzaden valley, lunch on the pass & a break before going back to the house.

Sidi Chamharouch (2310m of Altitude) Half or Full Day- 

Take the path leading to Toubkal Hut following the mule track until the Marabout sidi Chamharouch, where you will find your lunch ready, back by the same way.

Overnight treks

Tachdirte valley 2 days & 1 night - 

Around 9.00, walk with a guide from the house towards Tachdirte through the pass Tizi n’Tamaterte (2279m) stuning views above the berber valleys & the atlas mountains, overnight & dinner at the berber house in Tachdirte village. The next day walk along Imnane valley & cross many berber villages (Tmaguiste, Tinghrine, Ikkis…) walk up to cross Tizi n’Ougerssioual (1900m) join Imlil valley & back to the house.

Azzaden Valley  2 days & 1 night - 

Around 9.00, walk with a guide from the house towards Azzaden valley via Tizi Mzik 2684m, stunning view above Azzaden & Ouirgane vallay, continue to the village Tizi Oussem, overnight & dinner at the Berber house. 5h walking. The next day walk back to Imlil via Tizi N’oudid & Mattat village. 4h walking

Toubkal Ascent  2 days & 1 night -  

After breakfast, walk along Ait Mizane valley, following the mule path & cross the Marabaout Sidi Chamharouch continue to Toubkal hut. Overnight stay. The next day after an early breakfast, start Mt Toubkal ascent which takes approx 3h walking uphill, picnic lunch at the peak, enjoy the views and back down to the hut for lunch which takes & 2h walking downhill. On the afternoon continue to Imlil, night at Dar Achain.

Berber villages 3 days & 2 nights - 

Day 1: Pick up from Marrakech & drive towards Setti Fadma in the heart of Ourika valley, the starting point of the trek, walk along the valley & cross many berber villages, overnight stay at the Berber house in Timichi village. 5h walking. Day 2: climbing Tizi n’Tachdirte and pass through Ibbassen village, nice view toward Imnane valley, overnight at the berber house at Tachdirte village. 6h walking. Day 3: way to Imlil via Tizi n’Tamaterte 2279m, stunning view of Imlil valley, walk down to the town overnight stay the Dar Achain. 5h walking.
