About Me

Never been too sure how to write an about me column, but here goes:

I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and brought up in Subang Jaya for approximately 18 years of my life. I then ventured continents away to Coventry, UK to do my bachelors degree for 3 years. I then came home and have been working as a consultant, country hoping from time to time around the Southeast Asian region.

Always loved to "see the world" - cliche, but everyone has a different reason for that love. I like to see the world as it is. I enjoy understanding what the culture in a location is and how developments in the economy or social circumstance caused these evolutions.

Hence why I've come to love Wikivoyage! The insights of locals and travellers help me, the shy Malaysian, appreciate places I visit just a little bit more than discovering it myself through touristy guidebooks and tourism websites. In return, I will share what I know, as a local and as someone who has marked her prints in some small way in the many locations around the world (many more to come I hope!)
