Tsada
Tsada (Greek: Τσάδα) is a small hillside village 8 km northeast of Paphos. It enjoys a cooler climate than the coast and offers sweeping views over the Ezousa Valley and out to the Mediterranean.
Understand
[edit]Tsada is a perched at around 600 m above sea level on the western slopes of the Troodos foothills. While it remains a largely traditional Cypriot village, Tsada has gradually attracted a modest number of expatriate residents, drawn by its peaceful setting, vineyard-covered slopes, and close proximity to Paphos.
Topography
[edit]Tsada's most defining topographical feature is its elevation. The village is situated on a broad hilltop or plateau at an average altitude of approximately 615 meters (~2,018 feet) above sea level. This is substantially higher than coastal Paphos and even higher than the Agios Neophytos Monastery.
Climate
[edit]Tsada enjoys a mild upland Mediterranean climate with cooler summers, wetter winters, and excellent conditions for viticulture and olive cultivation. Its altitude offers relief from coastal heat and contributes to clean air and scenic living conditions, making it both agriculturally viable and residentially appealing.
