Delete?
[edit]I think this is an unlikely search term, and the original text was a tout, so I would have deleted this article. What's the good reason to keep the redirect? Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:16, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- Eiffel Tower redirects to Paris, etc., and being wholly unfamiliar with whatever Eastern religion this place is connected to, I have no idea how prominent a place it is or how likely a search term it may be. If you want to delete, I have no objection, but "better safe than sorry" was the principle I was operating under. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 16:18, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- Also, I'm not 100% convinced the original editor was a tout rather than a good-faith editor who is simply unfamiliar with wiaa. Panditarama is certainly not an appropriate subject for a destination article, but the prose was notably not purple and the text was actually written in a pretty good approximation of our informal, conversational tone. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 16:20, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- On closer inspection, I agree with you. It seems like a report by a customer, not a tout. I will also revert my edit on Meditation. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:23, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
Why was Panditarama. Lumbini Vipassana Meditation Center removed ?
[edit]
From what I understand, I added a meditation center to a wiki list of meditation centers under the topic of Meditation.
I see it's been removed. The link is to Lumbini, without Panditarama.
If I did something wrong, I would be interested in knowing what it was. I am not a tout, I have a long list of meditation centers and I planned to regularly add them.
I see one concern mentioned that Panditarama is not a destination. This seems curious to me. Why isn't it a destination meditation on a page listing meditation centers ? —The preceding comment was added by Wolf K (talk • contribs)
- It's not a destination per se for Wikivoyage purposes because the destination is Lumbini and like a hotel or spa, this is a place where you can stay and do various things within a city. Therefore, it should get a listing in the Lumbini guide. Apologies once again for misreading your article as a tout, but that's not the reason the center doesn't get its own separate article on Wikivoyage. Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:04, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
