Rocky Mountains

The Rocky Mountains are a major chain that extend down the western side of North America.

There are numerous definitions on where they start and end, but most people consider the northern end to be at the tri-point between British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories and the southern end to be in northern New Mexico.
