Get in[edit]

By car[edit]

You can get to Raufarhöfn on road 874 from the southwest (paved) from Husavik or road 85 (paved) Þórshöfn / Vopnafjörður from south-east or directly from road 1 in the south via the Dettifoss and road .

Alternative you can get to Raufarhöfn from the north-west around the peninsula on road 870 (unpaved) via Kópasker.
