Description

Al sinds de start van de dienstregeling vanochtend was het bonje op het spoor tussen Utrecht en Arnhem. Toen halverwege de middag ICE 126 ook nog last kreeg van een defecte trein op de omreisroute tussen Nijmegen en 's-Hertogenbosch, kwam deze ICE met 91 minuten vertraging de Randstad binnen. Besloten werd om rit 126 op de terugrit 129 te laten keren in Utrecht in plaats van Amsterdam. De tijd die overbleef verbleef het stel op spoor 9, waar ICE-stellen nooit komen. Dit leverde een vrij uniek plaatje op.

Stel 4651 staat, met nieuwe NS-logo's, klaar voor vertrek als ICE 129 naar Frankfurt.

Klein detail nog: het stel bleef wat langer in Utrecht, om zo een 'all clear' van de lijn naar Arnhem af te wachten. Na 10 minuten werd alsnog vertrokken naar 's-Hertogenbosch, even later kreeg ik een pushbericht dat de lijn weer begaanbaar was.
