Description
English: A parody megillah: Megillat-Hitler. Depending on the model of Ester 's megillah (The book of Esther), the Moroccan tradition has produced other megillot, like this one, always read in Tangier each year the 1st Elut, to commemorate the defeat of King Sebastian I of Portugal at Wadi el Makhazine Battle (The Battle of Alcácer Quibir, The Battle of Three Kings, or Battle of Oued al-Makhazin) in 1578 CE. Hitler could not escape the vengeance: a Hebrew master of Casablanca took charge of the execution.
