Summary
DescriptionLoch Ness (42064602492).jpg | One of the most famous waterways in the world. I've driven alongside it many times but never seen anything of "Nessie" the monster. Whether or not the beast exists there is no doubt the legend is good for the shopkeepers and hotels. Having said that there are many other scenic attractions in the area for those disappointed by no sighting. The loch is 22 miles long and up to one and a half miles wide. It's unusually deep - up to 745 feet, 227 metres - and has the largest volume of water anywhere inland in the British Isles. |
