English: Kanakana Kindi. Kanakana Kindi, or The window of Kanaka (dasa). This is the gopura tower built over small window from which Kanaka dasa, the devotee from a lower caste, worshiped Krishna after he was denied entry into the temple. Pleased by his devotion, Krishna's idol turned around to face this window., Udupi.
