![]() | ![]() This media file has been nominated for deletion since 5 June 2025. To discuss it, please visit the nomination page. Do not remove this tag until the deletion nomination is closed. Reason for the nomination: The uploader says on their talk page that this painting is by an unknown artist from 18 centuryand that posters for this painting are in cerculation sinces a very long time. They are not sure where to find confirmation of the century in which it was painted. To me, this doesn't look anything like other Category:1700s paintings from India or even Category:1800s paintings from India. I would guess it was 20th century. The only reverse image results I get are social media posts from the last decade that share the image with no context. To meet {{PD-India}} it would need to be painted by an artist who died before 1965, or to be anonymous and painted before 1965. (It does seem to have a signature in the bottom right, though.) From my research and the uploader's supporting statements, I don't think we can yet say that it was definitely painted that early. | ||
