Walnut Street Jail, SE corner 6th & Walnut Streets, Philadelphia in 1799. There is a tradition that the building being moved in the foreground is the blacksmith shop that became the first building of Reverend Richard Allen's Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
