According to a narrative, the place where the Caspian Lake was located was a settlement area in the past, and there was a shortage here. A pregnant woman walked door to door, asking for food and water, but no one helped. As a result of the woman's curse, this settlement area is thought to be flooded. The bottom of the lake is swampy and has a current. There are not many trees in the area, a grassy vegetation dominates. The surroundings of the lake are open. It can be seen from anywhere. It is one of the natural beauties visited by tourists when they come to Elazığ.
