Summary
DescriptionCheltenham Lansdown Station geograph-2169613-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: An Old Stager at Cheltenham Lansdown Station. View northward, towards Birmingham etc.; ex-Midland Birmingham - Bristol main line. This locomotive was an isolated survivor of the 2-4-0 express engines that were prominent on the Midland Railway services at the turn of the 20th century. Here No. 20216 remained, on the not very onerous work of Station Pilot at Cheltenham Lansdown. To the right out of frame, were the ex-Great Western lines to Cheltenham Malvern Road (and St James), Stratford-on-Avon and Birmingham Snow Hill
