Summary
| Description | English: Caolas an Scarp. The Kyle from the high path to Crabhadail. Looking north. Scarp was abandoned in 1969, it is famous for the attempt to use a rocket to send mail across the shallow tide race. (A possible power supply of the future?) All the photos of the Harris side of Caolas an Scarp were taken on the vast South Harris Estate. This has now passed into community ownership. |
