DescriptionBushey station geograph-3271257-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Bushey station WCML, 1990. View northwards, towards Watford Junction and the North on the ex-LNWR West Coast Main Line, junction of the loop of the local lines which go round via Watford High Street. The station was 'Bushey & Oxhey' until 24/9/82. The Fast lines are in the foreground, while at the back, beyond the Slow lines can be seen the platforms on the Loop line. The LNWR were pioneers in electrifying (DC) the Local lines: their electric trains ran Euston - Watford Junction from 4/4/17, joined by Baker Street & Waterloo Railway 'Tube' trains two weeks later: the LT 'Bakerloo' service was cut back to Harrow & Wealdstone from 4/6/84.
