| Description | English: The Walahar Dam construction project was started in 1923 by the Dutch with the supervision of a water expert from the Netherlands named C. Swaan Koopman. The Walahar Dam was put into use on November 30, 1925. The dam was built across the Citarum River so that it dammed the river for ± 50 meters. . The dam building consists of 3 parts, namely the bottom, which is a water retaining door with a total of 5 doors; the second part is a 3 meter bridge, which connects Klari and Anggadita; and the third part is the engine room for managing the dam system. Bahasa Indonesia: Proyek pembangunan Bendungan Walahar ini dimulai pada tahun 1923 oleh Belanda dengan pengawasan seorang ahli perairan dari Belanda bernama C. Swaan Koopman.Bendungan Walahar mulai dipakai pada tanggal 30 November 1925. Bendungan ini dibangun melintang pada aliran Sungai Citarum sehingga membendung sungai tersebut seluas ± 50 meter. Bangunan bendungan terdiri dari 3 bagian, yaitu bagian bawah, yang merupakan pintu penahan air yang berjumlah 5 pintu; bagian kedua merupakan jembatan seluas 3 meter, yang menghubungkan Klari dan Anggadita; dan bagian ketiga merupakan ruang mesin untuk mengatur sistem bendungan. |
