English: In several antique towns there is a distinction between the commercial agora (roughly a market square with shops around) and a state agora (with at least some governmental buildings along its side. This is the Arykanda one. It had a mosaic floored wooden portico and dates from the 4th century. The first three arches lead to the odeon, that is adjacent.
