English: Lion (Turkish: aslan or arslan) statue fragment on building across the street (Kurmaz Sokak) from the likenamed mosque. A Zaviye is a lodge for a religious group. The article states, translated and edited: The structure is entered from Kurnaz Street by a cut stone staircase, rising approximately 2 m. from the road level. On the wall where the stairs adjoin, there are pieces of lion statues that also gave the mosque its name.
