Description
English: The Little Boy combat unit (L-11) on Tinian, hooked up to a bank of monitoring equipment, used to check that the electronics were properly installed, prior to its use against Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. Visible inside the casing, mounted the gun-tube, is the clock box (large box at top), radar units used for fuzing (dark boxes), and batteries (light boxes at right).
