Description
English: Union Station, located at 110 Callahan Drive in the Old Town neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, is served by Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express. The station house was built in 1905 in the Federal Revival style, and was renovated in 1982, with additional improvements made in the mid-1990s. The Alexandria War Dead Memoria is located outside the station, and the King Street–Old Town station of the Washington Metro lies across the tracks. Union Station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
