English: A Soap Box Derby racer designed, built and piloted by Joe Lunn, 11, who was crowned World Champion at the 15th Annual All-American in Akron, OH in 1952. Hailing from Thomasville GA, Joe raced as a class B entry in the Columbus, GA local Derby a month prior. A crowd favorite at the All-American, his racer was dubbed "The Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia." The extant car, in its post-crash attire, is housed at Derby Downs Hall of Fame Museum in Akron, Ohio, and was in July, 2024 on display at the 3rd Annual Vintage Derby Car Show in Akron.
