Sugar Land is a city in the North Barrier Coast region of Texas, 24 miles southwest of Downtown Houston. It has a population of 118,000 (2019).

There is no bus or passenger railway system (yet).

The Sugar Land Town Square is a nice place to visit. There are various events and performances in weekends, especially in summer. There are also many nice restaurants all within walking distances.

• Sugar Land Space Cowboys, 1 Stadium Drive, ☏ +1 281-240-4487. The local Minor League Baseball team plays at 29.622751-95.6471791 Constellation Field as the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. From $8 to $60.  

You can shop at the First Colony Mall, next to City Hall in downtown Sugar Land.
